Speakers
Paul Dowling (Founder & CEO, Mindstream-AI)
Paul is founder and CEO of Mindstream AI, a specialist consultancy focused on AI and other emerging technologies. He is also involved in designing and running the data-centric health startup accelerator, KQ Labs, for The Francis Crick Institute and similar programmes involving AI. This has lead to taking a driving role in developing the London Kings Cross Knowledge Quarter deep tech ecosystem that includes organisations such as Google Deepmind, The Alan Turing Institute and Open Data Institute.
Paul is passionate about making a positive impact on the world through his involvement with technology, and has been involved in technology strategy for 30 years. He has a strong interest in the impact of technology startups on global innovation, and has spoken at many international conferences including Mobile World Congress and Pioneers Festival. He is particularly interested in investing in the technology startups that solve real problems using innovative technology or business models.
Frank Kelcz (Partner, 2Y3X)
Frank Kelcz started his first company at sixteen. After two years in GE’s elite Financial Management Programme he launched his first publication in Italy, eventually rolling it out across Europe and the US. At Ziff-Davis Frank was responsible for the largest launches in publishing history in France and Germany.
He then joined the Venture Capital world, first with Pitango, SEB Venture Capital, then UKTI and Marketing and AdTech accelerator Collider.
In 2019, he co-founded the 2Y3X Programme with Felix Velarde, a now international management consultancy firm that specializes in growth acceleration. Participants from a variety of industries have thrived in the programme, doubling or tripling their revenue in just a few years.
Ritesh Jain (ex-COO, HSBC)
Ritesh Jain, tech enthusiast, IT executive & Board Advisor, seasoned with 18 years of global experience in Digital Technology, Business Transformation and Operations. He led the future of payments with VISA where he was in charge of a team at VISA Europe to design and deliver a technology roadmap. Ritesh has also been a trusted tech advisor to many other global firms to create programs for their Digital & Agile transformation. Besides all his experience, he is also a lecturer to universities globally. Currently, he is guiding a group of 700 at HSBC, which is spread across 38 countries.
Lianna Brinded (Head of Yahoo Finance UK, Yahoo Finance)
Lianna is a passionate brand leader, strategist and innovator with near 20 years of experience that works cross-functionally and collaboratively to successfully build teams from scratch and lead them to be some of the most successful in the online world. She is currently the Head of Yahoo Finance UK, Global lead for PACE @ Verizon, responsible for engagement for 140,000 staff and is on the board of directors for major membership organisation DIAL Global. Prior to Yahoo, she was Europe editor for tech and media brand Quartz and has worked at multiple global brands and titles such as Business Insider, Wall Street Journal Europe and CNBC and is a regular broadcaster at BBC, TalkRadio, and LBC and has taken part in a number of speaking events such as Mobile World Congress, One Young World, and the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Tony Kypreos (Dealmaker, Global Entrepreneur Programme)
Tony is an entrepreneur, corporate innovator and angel investor with over 25 years of leadership experience. He is an authority on start-ups,
corporate venturing, building high performing teams and business development. He is especially focussed on building high-value, technology enabled
Health, Environmental & Sustainable Development impact driven organisations.
Currently a Board Member & Venture Partner of UNDP, International Trade Centre & Pfizer backed sustainability venture accelerator Accelerate2030
in Geneva that scales the impact of companies aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and a Board Advisor at Geneva Macro Labs. As a
Dealmaker with UK Department of International Trade, Global Entrepreneur Programme he scouts and mentors the world’s highest potential
emerging technology start-ups in Healthcare, EdTech, sustainability and CleanTech.
He is active in research and academia and is a visiting lecturer and mentor at the University of Cambridge; Judge Business School, Entrepreneurship
Centre, University of Cambridge; Institute for Manufacturing, INSEAD and the University of Cairo with a focus on emerging technologies and
sustainability.
