Speakers

Enis Hulli (General Partner, 500 Startups Istanbul)
Enis Hulli is a General Partner at 500 Startups Istanbul. Educated as an engineer he has a firm grasp of the technological aspect of the startup world and the ambition and knowledge to see the global potential in the regional startup scene. That is why, rather than venturing on the civil engineer path, he founded first seed, a network of investors focusing on early stages investments.
He aims to cultivate and grow the Turkish startup ecosystem, help talented entrepreneurs of the broader region and the diaspora in building explosive businesses that will integrate with Silicon Valley. His goal is to position 500 Startups Istanbul as the leading actor in the region in order to re-shape the future of innovation at EMEA. 500 Istanbul is an early-stage VC fund within the San Francisco based 500 Startups network, a leading global venture capital seed fund and startup accelerator with over 2,200 investments in more than 60 countries and venture partners in more than 25 countries.

Ozan Sonmez (Founding Partner, YellowX)
Ozan is an angel investor, experienced startup mentor, and an accelerator manager with +10 years of global experience in investing and building startup programs. He has built programs that invested to more than 20 Startups #globalturks in Silicon Valley. His investments were later accepted to 500 Startups, Techstars, Consensys, Hax, and DU Ventures.
He is currently the Head of Growth for Global Innovation Catalyst, focusing on scaling experiential learning programs to foster the innovation economy. He is a certified trainer by Stanford University Center for Professional Development. He is the head of the EMEA Region for UC Berkeley’s Innovation Accelerator Group and he has contributed to the formation of the MIT Enterprise Forum’s Pre-Accelerator Bootcamp in MENA.
He is currently launching the Founder Institute Regional Pre-Seed Accelerator targeting Startups from Turkey, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, and Syria.
In 2019, he created the first Impact Focused Global Startup Accelerator for the UN Development Program in partnership with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Food Program based out of Turkey. He has built multiple Intellectual/Science and Topic-based Startup Accelerators in the Middle East and Turkey. He has built a mentorship program for NY Based Building Markets that targets Refugee Built Small and Medium Businesses.

Patrick Bosteels (Co-Founder, Urla Coworking)
Being a passionate creator and serial entrepreneur, Patrick Bosteels never tasted corporate life. Started 13 companies, succeeded and failed. His last company in Belgium was TCS, a software and digital marketing company. Meanwhile, his passion to work with and for startups, changemakers and social entrepreneurs started to prevail.
He started STAGE-Co, a startup community platform focusing on increasing the quantity and quality of startups in Turkiye and also to ignite intrapreneurship for smarter companies.
Stage-Co’s motto is Coworking.Collaboration.Cocreation and to connect the loop, Patrick and partner Neşen Yücel started Stage Coworking with the first venue in Urla (Urla Coworking) in 2019 and continue to work for the startup and innovation scene also in their own venue.
Patrick is the proud Co-Founder of CoderDojo Türkiye, a volunteer network teaching kids (6-17 years old), how to code, HiGI Association (Herkes için Girişimcilik ve Inovasyon Derneği) serving to support entrepreneurship and innovative mindset for everyone and Now Sprint! Accelerator.

Dilek Dayinlarli (Founder, ScaleX Ventures)
Dilek is founder and Managing Partner at ScaleX Ventures.

Before founding ScaleX, she was an investor at 212 Capital Partners, an early-stage technology venture capital. She invested in companies like IyziCo, the biggest Fintech company in MENA, Insider, global marketing automation software, Hemenkiralik.com, the online marketplace for people to list.

Before 212, Dilek worked at Groupon as a Director, Management Consultant at Accenture and Business Developer at Koc Group.

Currently, Dilek is working closely with ScaleX Companies at the board level and investing deal by deal basis.

Dilek is one of the first Kauffman Fellows, chosen from Turkey and distinguished by scholarship. She is also founding member and leader of Arya Women Investment Platform. She has been an invited mentor and speaker at ITU (Istanbul Technical University), ODTU (Middle Eastern Technical University), KWORKS, Endeavor and Stanford University.

Dilek is chosen as one of the most successful Women Leaders in Turkey in 2017 by her contributions and impact on Tech Sector.
