Csongor Biás (Managing Director, Startup Hungary)
Csongor is the Managing Director of Startup Hungary, a new initiative to supercharge the local startup community. He previously started 2 coworking spaces and worked for VCs and accelerators as well as helping to open Vacuumlabs’ operations in Budapest as the Country Manager.
Kristóf Bárdos (CEO, Green Fox Academy)
Kristof defines himself as a socially sensitive tech entrepreneur.
At Green Fox Academy he teach the future proof skills for the tech-driven labor market. This is a university-size education center currently with two campuses in Prague and Budapest and growing.
He experiment with non(less) hierarchical structures, de-centralized social collaboration and distributed, employee ownership models.
Earlier, he spent over a decade in the tech startup scene, while he was founding and closing startups, working for SMEs and corporations through his product development agency on 3 continents. He also co-founded an accelerator house to bring CEE startups to global markets. In recent years, he turned his attention towards mentorship and project-based education and the social impact of the ventures.
Kata Ludvig (CEO, Flight Refund Ltd.)
Kata in the first five years of career, she worked at several Fortune 500 companies across 4 countries, always eager to learn as much as possible about the marketing world.
While earning my MBA in California, she accepted the challenge to direct and organize TEDxCSUS, the first-ever independently organized TED event at California State University Sacramento.
After studies, she entered the FinTech world as the CMO and Co-Founder of BankZee — a family banking application for financial education, that brings kids, parents, and banks together. After achieving fantastic success in the FinTech world, I decided to take on a new challenge in the travel industry.
As a frequent flyer, travel lover, conscious consumer, and, most importantly, a Gen Y professional, she joined Flight Refund as CEO and immediately understood how important role the company plays within the travel industry.
Gabor Pozsonyi (Partner, PortfoLion)
Gabor graduated at the Budapest University of Economics as MSc in Finance and Banking and also holds a Doctorate degree in Finance. He has been in commercial banking, corporate finance- and financial institutions advisory since 1991. Among other things he served as Director of Strategy of OTP Bank and also as Partner in KPMG CEE Financial Institutions Advisory Services. In 2003 Gabor joined CIB Bank, a BancaIntesa subsidiary in Budapest as Managing Director. After serving on strategic initiatives of various multinational companies, including MasterCard and KBC as an independent advisor, he joined MagNet Bank in 2012 and served the Bank’s value-based strategy as Deputy CEO, Member of the Board and as minority stakeholder. In 2020 Gabor joined PortfoLion Capital Partners as Partner and Investment Director of its Digital Fund. Parallel to this he continues helping Doble Impacto, a Latin American impact conscious crowdlending platform in Chile to become a fully licensed commercial bank.
