Everyone is very welcome to the next online conference of Startup Disrupt! 🔥 In May we’ll live stream an amazing event Sustainable Future which will be about Green Tech, Nanotechnologies, Circular Economy, Smart mobility, and other interesting topics. We will host 2 amazing panel discussions and speakers who are the leaders of tomorrow in sustainability.

Dane Baker (Founder & CEO, EcoCart)

Dane Baker is the Founder & CEO of EcoCart, which makes fighting climate change simple, cost-effective, and accessible for everyone. EcoCart calculates and offsets the carbon footprint of e-commerce orders via a Shopify app and Chrome extension. Previously, Dane has set out to make the world a better place through entrepreneurial ventures such as limiting materialistic consumption and waste with a peer-to-peer rental marketplace and providing gig-economy workers the wages and benefits they deserve with a first-of-its-kind gig economy employment platform.

Dan Beseda (Product Leader, ReFork)

Dan is a product leader at Refork where he develops new sustainable materials and products. He strives to bring a more holistic look into sustainability and educate people about materials. Before joining Refork, he was working for Eastman Chemical and Deloitte.

Karolína Pumprová (CGO, Greeen Tech)

Karolína Pumprová is a co-founder of GreeenTech, a company dedicated to the production of mobile hydroponic farms and the development of hydroponic technology. Here she is primarily responsible for the development of growing processes, hardware and operation management. In 2018, she founded the first vertical hydroponic farm in Prague, HerbaFabrica. She graduated in biotechnology and plant breeding at the ČZU.

Pedro Diez Gaspar (Future Business Technology Director, CEiiA)

Pedro is since 2017 the Future Business Technology Director at CEiiA a state-of-the-art R&D facility located in Portugal. Pedro is responsible for the creation of new disruptive products and the development of new business models that are designed with sustainability at their core.

In 2014 Pedro founded Livian, a fintech company focused on disrupting the high end of asset management and financial advisory. Before joining CEiiA, Pedro also worked as Innovation Director at Tekever, a Portuguese drone company. Pedro has a degree in Engineering and masters on Advanced Innovation Management and Program Management.

Çağrı Selçuklu (CEO & Co-Founder, DUCKT)

Cagri has 15 years of automotive & mobility experience and applications of user experience to these projects. He is now the CEO & co-founder of duckt to help reshape urban micromobility integration issues. Multidisciplinary with OEM, Start-up and Volunteer experience. Skilled in Design Thinking, Product Management,Project Management with Urban Mobility.

Cyril Klepek (Founder & CEO, cyrkl.com)

Cyril graduated from the University of Economics in Economics and Economic Policy, where he continued his doctoral studies. During this period, he was also in charge of innovations in the corporate part of Raiffeisenbank, where, for example, he was behind the establishment of Raiffeisen Advisory. His areas of interest are innovation, especially in the field of circular economics. He is an innovative leader in the Direct People agency, editor-in-chief of Cirkulární Česko and the founder of CYRKL, a secondary raw materials exchange that aims to digitize the market for waste and surplus materials.

Silke Horáková (Co-Owner of Albatros Media a.s.; Co-Founder & Partner at Tilia Impact Ventures)

Silke Horáková is the co-owner of Albatros Media, a.s., the largest Czech book publishing company and the Co-Founder of Tilia Impact Ventures, the first social impact fund in the Czech Republic.

In the past, Silke worked as the CEO of the Czech Private Equity & Venture Capital Association as well as a senior professional for private equity funds and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. She was also teaching Entrepreneurship Finance at the Prague University of Economics.

Ondrej Rybka (Manager at PwC Czech Republic)

Ondřej is a manager in the Risk Management department. He has been working in consulting for more than 9 years. He leads a team that concentrates on climate change and sustainable development.

In the past, he has been involved in projects that have verified compliance with supply chain requirements. He also concentrated on audits in the field of waste management and occupational safety. He also acted as a consultant in the above areas. Ondřej also provides advice on setting a sustainability strategy.
