Vít Horký (Founder, Brand Embassy)
Vít is a startup founder with a passion for technological innovations, which reveals human potential. He recently published a book, “Customer Care in Transhuman Times,” and sold a technology startup Brand Embassy which helps many Fortune 500 companies improve customer care to Israeli-American company NICE. In the past, he founded (and sold) a digital advertising agency and founded (and successfully closed) a software distribution company. Vítek graduated from the British Teesside University and lived in London and California. In his free time, he pushes a pram with twins over the mountains, rides a bicycle with his son or eagerly reads books.
Tal Catran (Business Partner, Haier)
Tal is a prominent figure in the global innovation ecosystem. Founded 14 startup accelerators since 2012, in both Israel and abroad, has rendered him a Guru on building accelerators, hubs and startup ecosystems. He serves as Advisory Board Member in various companies and technology startups, mainly in CyberSecurity, IT, AdTech, Retail, Drones, Home Land Security and others. His active involvement with hundreds of startups, accelerators, incubators, innovation hubs, tech parks and other major players in the entrepreneurial ecosystems, stretches from Israel to Eastern Europe and Asia.
Tal is also a busy Keynote Speaker and TEDx Speaker, on tech startups, innovation, and entrepreneurship, sharing his professional toolbox to mentor, motivate and inspire entrepreneurs around the globe. Corona world Lockdown made Mr. Tal perform his own adaptation and added anew title to his name Webinar Guru, sharing his experience worldwide.
Daniel Keiper-Knorr (Partner, Speedinvest)
New millenium, new enterprise’ thought Daniel, who founded his first company in 2000. Shortly thereafter, in 2004, he co-founded 3united, a 3-way merger, which, in early 2006, was acquired by VeriSign for EUR 55m.
From 2007 onwards, Daniel continued to flap his wings as a business angel and consultant. He invested in five Austrian and Swiss startups. Ambitious as he is, in 2011, he co-founded Speedinvest. As a Partner, Daniel runs investor relations and the fundraising desk and supports portfolio companies with business development. Thanks to Daniel’s great thirst for action and outstanding communication skills, Speedinvest has established a broad and versatile network across Europe.
Roman Šedivý (Manager, ROI Hunter)
Roman has been working at ROI Hunter for 6 years – 5 years as a Customer Success Manager and now supports the Customer Success operations across all regions (Czechia, United Kingdom, Dubai, Brazil and India). 2 years ago he moved to the UK to open a local branch and help with expansion to a new market. ROI Hunter is a Product Marketing Platform which helps online retailers sustainably grow by promoting their products on Facebook and Google with a focus on profitability.
David Semerád (Co-Founder, STRV)
A driven entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience in the software development field, David Semerad divides his time between Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Prague. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in information technology from the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.
David grew his mobile and digital app development company, STRV, from a small startup in 2004 to a thriving company with more than 150 employees servicing four offices on two continents. Serving top startups as well as Fortune 500 brands.
In addition to leading STRV to become a top tier global technology innovation partner, David has spun off several companies. The Game, acquired by Spark Networks (NYSE: LOV) in 2014, followed by creating the world’s 3rd largest gay social network Surge (3M+ users) and one of the world’s fastest food delivery startups Ordr (average delivery time under 7 minutes).
David’s work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Wired and TechCrunch.
He is currently working on his latest venture, Kindest, which is changing the game for nonprofit fundraising by bringing modern marketing methods to the nonprofit space. By incorporating his technology background and success from STRV, Kindest is completely taking over the nonprofit market and already helping thousands of organizations raise more money.
